My name is Lynette Miller, and I am the principal at Hastings High School. I have been a proud member of the Alief family for more than 27 years. Before becoming a principal, I taught Business Education and Dance and have served as the Drill Team Director for Hastings Golden Brigade, and I had the pleasure of opening Doc Taylor HS as the director for the Crimson Cadettes. I have also served as Assistant Principal at Albright Middle School and O'Donnell Middle School before transitioning to Elsik High School as the Associate Principal of Instruction and then came back home to Hastings HS as the Coordinating Principal for the past 7 years. GOOOO BEARS! I graduated from Sam Houston State University, where I obtained my Bachelors degree in Business Education and Dance. I also hold a masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. I am proud to serve the community of Alief and the families of Hastings High School where we strive to give every student an exemplary education and lead the way for each child to excel after high school. Hastings Proud!
